The 2026 Super Bowl returns this Sunday, February 9, bringing together two of America’s biggest National Football League (NFL) teams, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, for the sport’s most competitive annual event. But the 2026 Super Bowl was also a surprise halftime show, featuring the likes of Rihanna, Michael Jackson and Tony Bennett.

The trend of watching the Super Bowl live in London by staying up all night has grown in recent years, and now dozens of bars and restaurants across the capital are hosting viewing parties. The famous half-time show will take place between 1 and 1.30am and the match kicks off at 11.30pm UK time. This year’s special musical guest is Bad Bunny. Here are some of the best places to catch the action this weekend.

The best Super Bowl 2026 events

Blues Kitchen
Blues Kitchen’s three locations across the capital are perfect for a Super Bowl party, considering they pay homage to the food and music of the American South. The kitchen stays open until 1.30am, and in terms of dishes, think buffalo wings and burgers. The venues are hosting kick-off parties starting at 9 p.m. Tickets cost £6 and are available from Dice.

Old Queen’s Head
Food and drink is served until 3am at this Islington institution, so if you tend to want a beer early in the evening and get hungry later in the day, this is your ticket. Expect large screens showing the entire game, as well as the halftime show. Book for a table of up to 10 people, and tickets are £6 from Dice.

Blackhorse Road Brewery 40ft
One for beer lovers. The brewery in north London will be showcasing a special brew this Sunday, with pints served until 4am. Locals, the Walthamstow Dogs, were on dining duty with their hot dogs and admission, which cost five dollars, included a free pint. 40ftbrewery.com

Hard Rock Cafe
The Old Park Lane branch of Hard Rock Cafe and Piccadilly Circus are having a big celebration this Sunday. Expect cheerleaders, competitions, prizes and classic American food on this “action-packed” evening. Four food and drink packages are available, as well as a VIP package too.
