Massive expansion in the capacity of OpenAI computing will soon take place after the company gets an investment of $ 100 billion (£ 74 billion) from the world’s most famous chipmaker, Nvidia.

This commitment is made as part of the main strategic partnership between two technological giants, which will make NVividam use at least 10 gigawatts in the capacity of the data center for the next generation of AI infrastructure to open to training and run the next generation model.

Openai said that he would buy millions of Nvidia AI processors as part of the agreement, while Nvidia would try to build equity shares in OpenAI from time to time because the system was mobilized.

The first phase is targeted to be online in the second half of 2026 using the new Vera Rubin platform Nvidia. “Everything starts with computing,” said Openai Co-Founder Sam Altman.
