Liverpool is entering a new chapter after appointing Andoni Iraola as head coach. Big changes were immediately felt at Anfield following the end of the Arne Slot era, who failed to defend the title last season.
The club’s main focus is now on the attacking sector. Iraola and sporting director Richard Hughes are said to want to bring in two new front players to refresh Liverpool’s strength.
Yan Diomande is still the number one target
Yan Diomande’s name remains at the top of Liverpool’s target list. The RB Leipzig winger has long been projected as a figure who can fill the void left by Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have actually been communicating with player representatives for several months. However, their efforts have not gone smoothly.
Leipzig has shown no signs of wanting to let go of the young player in the near future. Even after Diomande’s impressive performance in the World Cup opener against Ecuador which ended in a 1-0 win, the German club’s position became stronger in negotiations.
According to Leipzig sources, an offer of more than €130 million or around IDR 2.45 trillion is needed to make them consider selling the player.
Apart from Diomande, Liverpool also reportedly admire Bradley Barcola as another option to strengthen the wing.
Darwin Nunez Enters Consideration
Not only looking for a winger, Liverpool have also been linked with the possibility of bringing Darwin Nunez home.
The Uruguayan striker currently plays for Al Hilal after leaving Anfield. However, reports that said an agreement for Nunez’s return had been reached was denied by The Athletic journalist, James Pearce.
This means that this opportunity is still just an interest and has not yet developed into a concrete agreement.
There’s No Way Back to Wrong
Mohamed Salah’s departure was one of the biggest moments of Liverpool’s summer.
Although Iraola’s arrival gave rise to speculation that the Egyptian player could change his mind, Pearce confirmed that this scenario would not happen.
Salah and Liverpool both feel that the time to say goodbye has come. In fact, the process that led to the termination of the final year of his contract is said to have started with discussions initiated by the player last March.
Therefore, the change of coach does not change any situation. Liverpool are now fully focused on finding a replacement for Salah, while the player is considering the next step in his career at the age of 34.
Federico Chiesa Hasn’t Given Up Yet
One name that is still a question mark is Federico Chiesa.
The Italian winger’s future has continued to be debated in recent months. But Iraola’s arrival opened up new opportunities for him.
Chiesa plans to hold direct talks with Liverpool’s new coach to find out whether he is still included in the team’s plans for next season.
The final decision will likely be heavily influenced by Liverpool’s transfer activity in the coming weeks, especially if the club succeeds in signing Diomande or another new striker.
Gilabola.com Opinion
Liverpool’s decision to make Diomande their top priority shows that the club is not just looking for a replacement for Salah, but also wants to get a figure who can become the new face of the Iraola project.
The challenge of course is the very high price. If Leipzig remains at a figure above IDR 2.45 trillion, Liverpool needs to prepare an equally competitive alternative.
On the other hand, Federico Chiesa’s situation is interesting to follow. Changing coaches often changes a player’s fate.
Before Liverpool spend big on new players, giving Chiesa a chance to show his worth under Iraola could make sense.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
