E-Ray Chevrolet Electrified Corvette is heading to England later this year, and it will be sold on the right drive.
Officially launched at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, E-Ray hybrid Powertrain makes it the fastest production corvette that arrives at the British coast.
Combining All-American V8 muscles with the latest electrical technology, E-Ray promises large performance with the guarantee of the All-World-Drive traction.
Available in coupe and convertible body style, orders for e-ray corvette can be placed now. The first delivery is expected in September 2025.
Lightning-fast performance
161HP electric motors are mounted on the front axle, creating the ability of the All-World-Drive (EAWD) Corvette.
Adding together with the two powertrain produces 643HP that befell the supercar, and means E-Ray can accelerate from 0-62MPH in just 2.9 seconds. The highest speed is 180mph.
The power for the electric front axle comes from a 1.9kWh battery, which is mounted behind the driver and passenger. Filling through regenerative braking eliminates the need to plug corvette into electricity supply.
Automatic eight-speed double clutch with rowing is the only gearbox available.
Corvettes cruise suburbia in silence
Electric motors allow e-ray corvette to start and expel in ‘stealth mode’. So, you can leave early without waking up your neighbors with the roar of V8 Thunder.
Fully driving electricity is possible up to four miles, with a maximum speed of 44mph. Above this, or once the battery runs out, the E-Ray engine will automatically explode.
Each of the six driving modes of corvette adjusts the amount of assistance provided by the front motor. EAWD works with traction control to optimize performance and stability as well.
E-Ray performance applications on the recently updated Corvette infotainment system allows drivers to manage battery charging levels and monitor car performance.
Corvette is not only for drag racing
Prove that e-Ray is more than just a straight line performance, standard specifications include the Chevrolet magnetic driving control suspension. It also uses strong Brembo brakes with carbon-cramps discs.
Using the same body as high-performance Corvette Z06, E-Ray is equipped with a 20-inch alloy wheels on the front and 21-inch rim on the back.
The four -wheeled design will be available, including carbon fiber wheel options that saves a total of 18.5kg with a weight that is not closed.
Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tires are standard, but customers can choose the Rubber Pilot Sport 4S Stipiter as part of the optional performance package.
Ready to roll from September
Buyers can choose from 10 different exterior colors for their corvette, including thick colors like purple hysteria and yellow competition. Some interior trim combinations are also offered.
After the E-Ray debut at 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, customers can make orders through one of the four Corvette dealers dedicated in the UK.
Prices for e-ray coupes will start at £ 153,440, with a convertible version at a price of £ 159,230. It makes Corvette look like bargaining, given the offer offered by the Supercar.
We can only hope that the extraordinary 1,064HP Corvette ZR1 is the next model that crosses the Atlantic …
