The Prime Minister who said the performance of Glastonbury 2025 from Kneecap is not “precise” will always reach the opposite of what Sir Ker Ker Starmer hopes.
This festival will never cancel the order, it will be seen as a sign against freedom of speech, and in the end, Starmer’s comments doubled the size of the crowd. One hour before the Ireland RAP law will occur, this festival application tells the passengers that the West Holts stage is full and encourages people to turn around for safety. ;
Naturally, the statement of PM only blows more oxygen in the hip-hop trio fire. Through their Irish Rap, they have campaigned for freedom for Palestine, and ended tensions in Ireland. The Prime Minister gave his comments because Lutecap’s member Liam O’hanna appeared in the London court on the charge of terror after displaying a flag to support Hizbullah at a concert in London.
In the middle of the set filled with the song “F*CK Keir Starmer” and many Palestinian rhetoric, they suggested a crowd outside of parliament, before retreating a few minutes later. “I have to make a bedtime,” they said. “I don’t want anyone to start riots.”
Kneecap in Glastonbury 2025: Some songs cross the line, but there is a brilliant wisdom too
Thousands of people appear mainly dressing green to support Palestine. During the tracks led by energetic synth, dance inflexion like hood and remove your English people, beaches green and orange change the color of the sky. This group is mainly rap in English but displays several tracks in Ireland throughout the set for one hour. DJ Próvaí led the rap duo Liam O’hanna and JJ ó Dochartaigh and his voice combined rap, hip-hop, and dance. They became the mainstream after their semi-autobiographic film, Kneecap was nominated for six BAFTA awards. Released in 2024, it recorded the revival of the working class trio from Belfast.
Watching Kneecap is a Discombobulating experience. The call for the Mosh hole to “open” appears as an aggressive but starts with a call to take care of each other. Obviously, telling 40,000 people for riots in parliament crossed the boundary. However, at other times there is a brilliant wisdom for their sentiment. “One day it will be controversial for bands and celebrities who do not talk about Palestine,” they said.
Funny watching Glastonbury’s audience involved with them. At one point, the band asked the crowd who planned to watch Rod Stewart tomorrow. (In an interview with The Times this weekend, Stewart suggested that we provide the opportunity to reform, a very unfair incapable sentiment.) The “Yeaaas” sea is diluted to “Booo” when it is clear that in this land, the old rocker came out of fashion. “The man was older than Israel,” they joked. “Google.”
Half the type of middle-class tags that are half politically motivated that have read about knee controversy and cannot refrain from turning to the zeitgeisty set this weekend, it is the classic Glastonbury experience. In the end the blue sky is blue with a flare, and Glastonbury has been re -connected with its roots in political activism.
